The highway winds up the Huilong Mountain, with peaks rising one higher than  another, like a coiling dragon or a jade belt.

 

A villager of Shilongtan Village in Xingning Town said, “Now the asphalt road is in front of our house. Flowers and scenery can be seen everywhere. More and more people visit Huilong Mountain, and tourists often come to buy my agricultural products.”

 

The highway, with a total length of 20.89 kilometers, connects various major tourist attractions in the city, which provides tourists with better travel experience, greatly facilitates the transport, production and life of villagers along the route, as well as promotes the integrated development of agriculture and tourism.

 

 

Li Faquan, Party secretary of Shilongtan Village, said, “The original narrow road has been transformed into a spacious asphalt road, and bus routes have also been opened. This brings more convenience for villagers, draws more tourists to the village and and helps the sales of agricultural products. With the improved environment, the villagers become much happier.”

 

Shilongtan Village has taken on a new look, and spared no efforts to develop the tourism industry. The town has continued to improve rural living environment and develop the characteristic industry integrating culture, agriculture and tourism.

 

 

Cao Hongtong, Party secretary of Xingning Town, said, “The Huilong Mountain  highway greatly facilitates the travel of the people and improves the living environment. The people are very happy for that.”
